Village Books and WCC Community and Continuing Education have created a new writing instruction collaboration called Chuckanut Writers. Writing classes, seminars, and conferences will inspire and encourage writers at all stages of their writing journey.
Have you accomplished or even unwittingly experienced something adventurous or unusual? Would your story make a great book if only you knew where to start? Join Cami Ostman, author of Second Wind: One Woman’s Midlife Quest to Run Seven Marathons on Seven Continents, where you’ll learn about the importance of structure, voice, and theme in the quest memoir. Unlike childhood or trauma memoirs, these cover the finite, life-changing story of a narrator’s journey or experience. Come away from this class ready to tell your story in a scenic and compelling way.
Class meets for five sessions on Wedsnesdays – Sept. 30 & Oct. 7, 14, 21 & 28 – and is $125; click here to register. To see the full listing of current Chuckanut Writers classes, click here.
